PhD Summer School on the Next Society’s Systems TheoryPosted: January 9, 2014
Social systems theory in the style of Niklas Luhmann is one of the three pillars of CCO thinking. (The other two pillars are, of course, the Montréal School and McPhee et al.’s interpretation of structuration theory.) If you are an up-and-coming academic with an interest in systems theory, then this year’s PhD summer school at the Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen, Germany, is a good place to be.
Running from May 12 to 16, 2014, you’ll get to work with one of five renowned scholars every day: Helmut Willke (Zeppelin University), Alfred Kieser (Zeppelin University) and David Seidl (University of Zurich), Elena Esposito (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia), Dirk Baecker (Zeppelin University) as well Niels Akerstrom Andersen (Copenhagen Business School). Check out more details at the summer school’s website.
